Kids, Singing, Laughing

Three of my favorite things in one book reading: Kids, singing, and laughing. Lucky me. I had the glorious opportunity to deliver two readings this week. The first at the Jacksonville Library to some super aware children who love and appreciate earth, and the second with the Jacksonville Kids Camp, a group of 16 adorable kiddos who exuded the joy of a million hummingbirds. Their innate wisdom gives me hope.

With each group, I shared photos and videos of my recent caterpillar rescue and his metamorphosis. The looks on their faces while watching the caterpillar shed his skin! I share their awe for the natural world.

In the coming weeks, I’ll be reading with two more groups at the White City Library on July 26, and I’ll be hanging with the children at the Oregon Honey Festival on August 19.
